Your notices to subscribers come from your substack , but if it’s true, it means I can’t post your Letters From Vienna on Twitter, which I do regularly.

More divide divide divide. Bastards. So, Elon big savior guy. Who believed that in the first place.

For the time being but I might be forced to give up my posts, which means that I would have more time for my novel.

There is zero reason to give up your posts. You gave up Twitter a long time ago. Your posts are a hotline to subscribers and their friends to whom they are forwarded. And posts your readers make on various other venues.

I was banned from Twitter and today I (initially) couldn't access my account. I had to complain in order to do so. I suspect that they are censoring me without admitting explicitly that they are doing so. If so: I have posted enough and will focus on other projects. I have no problem with that.

What's the subject, WW2 behind the scenes? Your surname is one of someone who would know what really went on :-) Frohe Ostern!

Well, I grew up reading about WWII and found out what happened behind the scenes much, much later. To be honest I have always been interested in current affairs (my mother taught politics) and history (a family tradition) and I found out that the Vietnam War was a complete fraud at the age of 13!

My parents both German, now deceased. Father from Leipzig, called up aged 17, had to go where sent 1943. Mother was 16 year old fluechtlinger aus Ostpreuessen, who ended up in UK with Operation Westward Ho. Father captured in Normandy by Canadian forces and shipped to USA as POW in Louisiana. When war over and spoils shared out, both Ost P and Leipzig handed to communist so my father came back first to UK and decided to remain and eventually met my mother. I was only born out of consequences of WW2.

We are all children of history, which is why I studied that subject at university.
