John Pilger Remembered

In 1979 John Pilger’s: Year Zero, the Silent Death of Cambodia[1] shook me to the core; even today I can still feel its reverberations. How could this be possible, I asked myself? I naively and foolishly assumed it was due to Nixon and Kissinger being detached from reality; they simply didn’t understand the magnitude, implications or ramifications of what they were doing. Now I take a considerably less charitable view of their roles.

Now, after considerable research, I’m convinced that what happened to Cambodia is the blueprint for what’s intended for all of us: a (RAND/Club of Rome) think-tank conceived, socially engineered, “zero-carbon” world, a “green”, “animal/environmentally friendly”, deindustrialised and depopulated world without love, liberty or happiness, a nihilistic, Satanic, slavish hell on earth.

That Klaus Schwab is the pupil of Henry Kissinger should hardly surprise. All that the WEF and UN (Agenda 2030) have planned for us can be seen in what befell Cambodia. It’s neither a pretty precedent nor a charming prospect. Once one understands the end game the goals of the Genocide by Jab and Hospital Holocaust become abundantly clear. When one “thinks Green” one, unwittingly, is thinking not only of the Georgia Guide Stones but of Cambodia under the Kmer Rouge.

Today I’m convinced that the civil unrest of the 1960s, the demonstrations against Vietnam and, above all else, the rebellion within the American army itself, which Pilger ably documented in The Quiet Mutiny (1970), were the genesis of the Club of Rome. The Establishment had grown frightened of the unruly masses, decided to switch to robots, depopulate and used the “Green Agenda” to justify its genocide.

Powerful films, such as Death of a Nation: The Timor Conspiracy, Palestine Is Still the Issue,  Stealing a Nation, and The War You Don't See showed the dirty underside of ever-present, western imperialism (sadly we don’t live in a post-colonial world). Pilger showed the reality of a world hidden by an ever more tightly controlled media. If the media had been seduced, persuaded or cajoled by the likes of Kissinger in the 1970s it was run and staffed by his ilk in the 1980s and hasn’t changed since.

The absolute control of the media made crimes such as Waco, the downing of TWA 800[2], the criminal War Against Yugoslavia and 9/11 possible. What was reported as accepted truth in the 1970s (e.g. the scholarship of Sutton) was descried as “conspiracy theory” (a favourite accolade apportioned by the CIA) thirty years later. The goal posts of what represented “truth” shifted with the ever increasing and ever more effective MK-Ultra/Tavistock brain-washing but John Pilger remained comfortingly sane and the same.

The last film I saw of his: The Coming War on China (2016), could well have been titled: The Coming War on Russia and China. This was what was in the pipes and would undoubtedly have taken place much earlier had Killary been elected. Again, western imperialism, financially on the ropes, was playing dice with atomic bombs. Whether we’ll survive this imperial gambit remains to be seen.

Whatever the case may be John Pilger will be sorely missed and if the world goes silently down the path of its destruction: it’s through no fault of his.
