Christmas, Scrooge and the Writing on the Wall
It’s always fascinating, and extremely informative, to read graffiti written on toilet walls. It’s clear proof that mental or linguistic urges or merely the urge to write surpass or suppress all others. I was shocked but not terribly surprised to read two calls for action in Vienna recently: “Free Gaza from Hamas” and “Never Again Means Never Again”. Both were written in German and both had Stars of David appended to them. The Stars of David are not unimportant. There are those that argue that this particular symbol has more to do with Satanism than Judaism and I’m slowly beginning to agree (to be frank I was always confused when I saw Hexagrams (666) in movies involving Satanism. Isn’t that the Star of David, I’d ask myself? What’s it doing there?)
Both show the degree of brain-washing or as C J Hopkins puts it: “mind-fucking” going on. Yes, agreed, Hamas, which is supported by Israel, is undoubtedly a bane to our existence. But can this “problem” seriously be solved by means of killing thousands of women and children? Killing women and children or, to put it mildly: committing genocide, can only engender hate and can only feed more recruits destined for Hamas. At the same time: Hamas has a formidable array of tunnels below ground. It’s literally untouchable and untouched by the bombing while the appalling destruction provides ideal conditions for urban guerrilla warfare.
Israel has suffered thousands of casualties (in one hospital alone there are more than the total officially declared) and Hamas is showing no signs of weakening. Worse still: individual acts, which often border on the insanely reckless, have earned them much admiration. Hamas is now termed “the resistance” and “heroic”. This isn’t going to help when it comes to “rooting them out” or “liberating Gaza from Hamas”. Hamas, and the other resistance groups are, in short, as a direct consequence of the ongoing genocide, more powerful than ever before. This is undoubtedly intentional on the part of the Israeli leadership, which likes to play the Hamas card in order to terrorise its citizens into supporting instead of imprisoning them.
It’s also a misconception that Israel protects Jews from a “Second Holocaust”. “Never Again” just happened in the form of the Genocide by Jab. Israel in particular was singled out and the loss of life there has been quite appalling. Where were those who cared about “never again” then? Unfortunately, many were to be found in the Covidiot camp and were actually supporters of jabs, masks and lockdowns.
The biggest misconception is to think that Zionism has somehow protected Jews and was somehow a response to the Holocaust (when in reality the alliance between Zionism and Nazism helped facilitate it). That many Zionist Jews don’t live in Israel, that the vast majority of Zionists are in fact (often anti-Semitic) Christians and that many Israelis have a second passport ought to tell even the more stupid Goys something. Sadly, the mind-fucking is well advanced. Many seriously believe that once Israel dissolves all the Jews living there will be murdered in a massive pogrom instigated by Hamas. This isn’t however the way things will play out.
It’s sadly true that many Israelis have been impoverished by the policies of Bibi & Co but this doesn’t mean that they won’t be able to leave. They will do so, just as many will stay in what will become a Palestinian state.
The real question that should be concerning us is: what shape will this state take?
Will there be a deal made, such as in 1980s South Africa, when the ANC was told it could attain political power at the price of maintaining the social and economic status quo?
Fatah is clearly unfit to govern and the one figure who carried any political weight, Yasser Arafat, was killed by the Israelis in order to facilitate the rise of Hamas. Sadly, there’s no moderate alternative to Hamas (this is no accident) and this should worry all, especially Palestinians.
Perhaps this is looking too far ahead and involves too much speculation, which is invariably foolish.
What is nevertheless needed, and immediately, is a reform of “Western values.”
Caitlin Johnstone is perfectly right when she writes:
“The demolition of Gaza is indeed being perpetrated in defense of Western values and is itself a perfect embodiment of Western values. Not the Western values they teach you about in school, but the hidden ones they don’t want you to look at. Not the attractive packaging with the advertising slogans on the label, but the product that’s actually inside the box.”
“For centuries Western civilization has depended heavily on war, genocide, theft, colonialism and imperialism, which it has justified using narratives premised on religion, racism and ethnic supremacy — all of which we are seeing play out in the incineration of Gaza today.”
“What we are seeing in Gaza is a much better representation of what Western civilization is really about than all the gibberish about freedom and democracy we learned about in school.”
“A much better representation of western civilization than all the art and literature we’ve been proudly congratulating ourselves on over the centuries.”
“A much better representation of western civilization than the love and compassion we like to pretend our Judeo-Christian values revolve around.”[1]
I can’t help but thinking that “Western values” in general aren’t up to much right now.
It’s not merely the toilet but the social media walls that concern me (perhaps there’s no real difference or separation between them).
I recently saw two especially distressing postings. One concerned a marathon runner who sacrificed his advantage to help a competitor finish a race. This was, one person (whose picture resembled a certain German leader of the 1930s) opined, fundamentally false. Why should one runner sacrifice his advantage just because the other hadn’t trained enough? Another posting argued that one shouldn’t support the poor because they wasted their money on their children rather than investing in bonds and shares. They wanted presents for their children (imagine that!) at Christmas time too! How scandalous!
Sadly, the spirit of Scrooge, as became apparent at the time of Thatcher, is very much alive and kicking, albeit currently wearing a woke guise.
There’s a need for compassion and feeling, not just at Christmas and not just toward the Palestinians, once more.
The West is sick and at Christmas time it’s a good idea to ponder why.

Wow, Michael! You see history in much the same way I do only more so - and thank the stars - with a platform to talk to us about it. And as the "leaders" of Israel the overvaxxed have destroyed their population and fertility, and the Palestinians (undervaxxed) have been seeing huge population growth, there has to be some way to bring the Palestinian population way down way fast and get that real estate. Not never again but always again.
